Southeast University Engineering Law: "Global Engineering Legal System" lecture series (continuous update)

Over the years, the Law School of Southeast University has always focused on the goal of intersectionality, teamwork and practice-oriented, made use of the engineering advantages of our school, cooperated with the School of Civil Engineering, the School of Communication and the School of Architecture, and innovated the compound talent training model of law + engineering, and explored a unique way to train engineering legal talents. Southeast University Engineering Law is the first interdisciplinary discipline in the country, and has become a well-known discipline in the domestic interdisciplinary field, and has become the brand and characteristics of the law school.

 In 2022, in order to have a more comprehensive understanding of the development and changes of the global engineering legal system, Professor Xiong Zhanglin, head of the Engineering Law Department of the Law School, took the lead in offering the course Global Engineering Legal System in China. Many professors from the University of Melbourne in Australia, the Catholic University of Portugal, the University of Constance in Germany, Waseda University in Japan and other well-known universities were invited to give lectures to the faculty and students of the university. The course is rich in content and wonderful, attracting more than 100 teachers, students and legal practitioners from famous universities and abroad to participate, and has been unanimously praised by all walks of life. It not only broadens the cognitive horizon of teachers and students, but also stimulates their strong interest in the comparative study of engineering legal systems.

This year, Southeast University Law School will continue to offer the course Global Engineering Legal System Topics after careful preparation and planning. The course is still carried out in the form of a series of high-end cutting-edge lectures, inviting well-known scholars of global engineering law to discuss cutting-edge issues in the field of engineering law. The course will adopt a combination of online and offline, open to all walks of life, and sincerely welcome the active participation of engineering law theory and practice workers in China, jointly promote the multi-dimensional interaction between legal research and construction engineering, and explore the disciplinary system, academic system and discourse system of engineering law facing the world. In order to better carry out course exchanges, the basic course schedule up to June 2024 is now released in advance for you to arrange in advance.
